Moving Back to Blogger

It’s time to move!

Hi everyone…

Long time no read.  A while back I decided to make the swap to WordPress and while I like many of the features of WordPress I miss the simplicity of blogger. I also miss the Blogger community. My own experience with WordPress is that it was extremely hard to build any kind of community. I’m not sure why. Maybe it was because I didn’t know enough? I honestly don’t know but it felt to me like I was this teeny, tiny little spec in the middle of the massively, gigantic world of WordPress.

Advice from financially successful bloggers seems to be, “you really need to swap to wordpress”. So, I took that advice and I realized after some months, I didn’t have the readership I have here on Blogger and as for financial gain? I don’t know if I’ll ever make any money with my blog. My blog has always been more like therapy for me. I don’t have a “niche”. I’ve always used my blog to write about my life, things I like, opinion pieces etc.

I’m glad I branched out for a while to see what was there but for me the old saying seems to ring true. “The grass isn’t always greener on the other side”.. Thank you to those of you who have stuck around. I look forward to connecting with you again and I also look forward to meeting new readers as well.

  1. I did the same thing a couple of years ago. I kept hearing how great Woodpress was and I found it difficult and like you said, Blogger is so simple. I guess there are just those WordPress people and us Blogger people. Long live Blogger!!!

  2. Hi Wren, WordPress just never 'felt' right. I tried to learn it I really did LOL but in the end, I guess I”m just a blogger girl. Thank you so much for coming by and commenting 🙂
